De metalen motorbeschermplaat is nieuw en op maat ontworpen voor Ford Transit - FWD, geschikt voor alle versies geproduceerd tussen 2007 and 2013. De plaat beschermt de onderzijde van het voertuig en kwetsbare onderdelen tegen stoten, stenen, modder, vuil en oneffenheden in de weg. De beschermplaat beschermt de volgende onderdelen: motor, versnellingsbak. De beschermplaat is vervaardigd uit staal plaatmateriaal met een dikte van 2 mm. Schroeven, afstandhouders en alle benodigde montageaccessoires zijn inbegrepen. Alle beschermplaten zijn gepoedercoat tegen corrosie voor een hogere weerstand en langere levensduur. De beschermplaten zijn voorzien van gelaste verstevigingen voor een betere weerstand tegen externe schokken. |

Shipping: the packaging was not sufficient to protect the edges of the product from getting scraped. So I had to repaint the edges. Fitting: 1. the is insufficient fitting information. There should be a step by step guide with diagrams or photos. Instead it is guess work and trial and error. 2. The fabricated 'U' bolts that hold the sides of the guard to the underside of the engine bearers do not fit through the holes that exist in the engine bearers. My Mk 7 SWB FWD 2.2 transit sept 2012, has different sized holes on each side. On the UK near side (front right) the circular hole much smaller than on the other side. I had to grind down the ends and backs both U bolts to get them to pass through the holes. On the right side this took a considerable amount of work, before it would go through the hole. Clearly the design needs updating. 3. With no assembly order it became a fight to get the main sump plate holes to line up with the captive nuts in the sides and the slotted fixings at the rear. It was only after several attempts it became clear that the rear fixings should be mounted first!!! Thankyou.. What should have taken half an hour took over an hour. At least now the product is fitted, it is doing its job. And well !

Finally could sort out what Fords seems to be acceptable on the Transit MK7 and close up the underside of the fully exposed engine bay. Sumpguard fitted good but holes on the LH frame needed a little bit fettling to accept the bracket. As others said already, packaging not quite as good as it could be but all considered good value for money.

Good quality Produkt, quick delivery und no problems fitting it to my transit. The installation instructions could be better but if you can solve a puzzle for 4-6 year olds you will manage to install this sump guard. Packaging was also not sufficient and the delivery arrived scratched and beat up but after all it’s a sump guard .... Would recommend this guard

Hält, was es verspricht. Montage hab ich in einer Werkstatt machen lassen wegen des Gewichts. Die haben einen Motorheber benutzt, um das massive Teil runterzuhieven und wohl einige Schraublöcher nachgebohrt. Das Auto - ein Ford Transit - ist ein Stückchen tiefer gekommen. Hab das Teil seit gut drei Monaten in Marokko drunter und war öfters froh, dass ich es drunter hatte. Versand war schnell! Preis angemessen. Empfehlung für alle, die auf holprigen und steinigen Wegen fahren wollen.

Einziger Kritikpunkt man könnte eine ausführliche Montageanleitung beifügen. Dann würde man auch sehen das man den Querträger abbauen muss um die Verschraubungen einzuführen.

Bestellung und Versand war in Ordung. Die Qalität ist gut, Passgenauigkeit auch. Die Konstruktion des Schutzes ist durchdacht und stabil. Nur links ist beim Einfädeln der Halterung ist Nacharbeit notwendig gewesen, weil im Rahmen kein Langloch wie rechts, sondern ein Rundloch ist. ( Ford Transit 2.2 Bj. 2013 ) Gesamteindruck: 1-
